The Education Network are helping the school design and produce a sensory garden for the Early Years playground for use by the pupils in Nursery and Reception classes at Webster Primary School. Work starts on the raised sensory garden in June 2014 by volunteers from The Education Network and funded by them also. They hope to provide a sensory garden that will be filled with fun things for the pupils to experience and for completion by the start of the new academic year in September 2014. We’ll keep you updated with photographs and news throughout the coming months!

The Education Network find candidates suitable work in our Heart of Manchester partnership schools

"TheEducation Network could not have found a better environment for me to begin my new role as a supply Teaching Assistant.  The staff at Claremont Primary School have been warm, friendly and made me feel welcomed from the moment I stepped foot into the building. Before moving into their foundation unit, I was initially based in a lower key stage 2 class where the Teachers made me feel appreciated and valued. Although I am an experienced TA, the staff are approachable should you need assistance.   Everyone, be it parent, child or staff, are warm and friendly which adds to the ethos of the school. I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. Thank you for finding me such a good school to work in"

Tonia Hardman- Teaching Assistant

"I loved my placement at St Mary's. From day one I was treated like any other member of teaching staff, and I enjoyed being a part of such a professional and dedicated team of Teachers. I taught in all age groups, which really helped me integrate quickly into the school community. I'm very grateful to The Education Network for finding this position, and I look forward to returning to St Mary's in the future"
