The Education Network can offer Newly Qualified Teachers the opportunity to develop teaching experience, skills and resources as part of our Supply Team. We work with a broad range of schools throughout the UK that can offer you support through your Induction period that includes professional development, initial assignment induction and on-going support.
Part of our on-going commitment for 2015 is to provide more opportunities for work through our many planned NQT Events designed to help you start the process of finding the right school for you on either a supply, contract or permanent basis.
For NQTs who have not secured work and are considering looking for a local education recruitment company, do not look any further than The Education Network. We are one of the region’s largest suppliers of Teachers and Support Staff, we support many school and community linked projects and work alongside organisations such as Sainsbury’s School Games, Newcastle Eagles, Leeds Rhinos and have many more school and community linked partnerships across the UK.
The Education Network is the first choice for many schools across the region for both daily and long term supply cover. We also work with our client schools on exclusive permanent recruitment opportunities not advertised anywhere else. Our client schools understand our service and work with us as consultancy partners to help them fill their long term and permanent roles as well as day to day supply requirements. We spend a lot of time visiting schools to understand their individual ethos and policies. We understand the needs and desires of each client school and have a high success rate of finding the right teacher the right school position, first time. We have developed a unique CPD program for our teachers and support staff and you could also benefit from the ongoing training we provided to all our staff FREE of charge. All of our courses are run in conjunction with established, recognised training providers and former Headteachers.
The Education Network’s Genius Bar (not exclusive to Apple….) has come up with the following schemes after consultation with many of our NQTs across the UK. As a result, we are in the unique position to be able to offer additional financial support as well as our existing on-going training.
Student Loan Reimbursements:
Anyone who joins The Education Network during 2015 will receive a reimbursement of the student loan fees deducted from their pay, paid on the following weeks payroll. This is an additional sum and comes on top of your pay rate (already above scale).
We asked a number of NQT’s what their concern was when starting work and student debt came out top of their “worry list”. We are sure that the introduction of our student loan reimbursement will help ease some of those concerns.
£100 Registration Bonus:
In addition, anyone who joins TEN during 2015, clears our registration process and goes on to complete 10 full days work for us will receive a “joining bonus” payment of £100 in their next pay slip (the following week). It only applies to new candidates. Our daily rates of pay for NQTs are generally higher than our competitors anyway, we will always pay to scale or above for long term work. Our £100 registration bonus is our way of saying ‘thank you’ for working with us.
We work with a number of experienced and qualified training providers offering a range of FREE CPD sessions during the academic year. We also have two former Headteachers who work exclusively for The Education Network and offer bespoke CPD sessions as well as optional and supportive classroom observations. Recent training has included topics such as Behaviour Management, The new Primary Curriculum and An introduction to Special Educational Needs. We are developing sessions on Read Write Inc and Assessment without Levels – coming soon… watch this space!!
A golden handshake of up to £250 on completion of each part of your induction.
