Teaching Assistants

Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Staff work in schools alongside Teachers: providing valuable support for teaching and learning activities. This is a very rewarding role, as it allows more time with each child, which helps them to develop their potential.

We recruit for Teaching Assistants with NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or a minimum of 6 months working in a classroom based setting.

We have supply jobs for Primary Teaching Assistants across Foundation. KS1 and KS2. These roles may be general support for the Teacher or one-to-one support for individual children.

We also work extensively with children with SEN needs; and support children with BESD, PMLD, ASD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, SLD, MLD and Speech and Language difficulties (SPLd).

This role is a great way of expanding your knowledge and learning new techniques as to how to teach, and is invaluable experience if you are looking to do a PGCE. At the Education Network we aim to place you in education job that suit your preferences.
